What is Black 'n Bougie - otherwise known as BougieLand, you may ask?
BougieLand is my own little made up world where bougie isn't bad... it's beautiful. I've decided to embrace the positive aspects of bouge and own it. Bouge is love. BougieLand is a blog (a community) where I post my thoughts, plots, musings and pontifications on life, love and the bouge of it all.

From Wikipedia & Merriam-Webster y'all: Bourgeoisie is a classification used in analyzing human societies to describe a social class of people. Historically, the bourgeoisie comes from the middle classes whose status or power came from employment, education, and wealth. In urban pop culture, the word bourgeoisie is shortened to "bougie."
Adjective meaning extravagant, often to the point of snobbery. Usually used in relation to the conspicuous consumption of the urban upper-middle class.
I'm electing to remove the negative stereotype of bouge and embrace the beauty.
